The purpose of Scouts BSA Troop 26 is to provide scouting experiences to the boys and girls of Fort Drum and surrounding areas, with a focus on citizenship. A robust outdoor program is instrumental in Troop 26's success. A variety of outdoor activities are included in the program, dictated heavily by the desires of the youth leaders.


Troop 26 believes in Scouting for All! All Scouts are welcome to join! Scouts BSA Troop 26 welcomes military families, civilian families, boys and girls to join!


Troop 26G and Troop 26B is chartered by the 10th Mountain Division Sergeant's Major Association. The Troops use a Fort Drum facility to conduct the Scouting program.

Directions:


From the west (Syracuse, NY): Take I-81 North Exit 48A towards I-781. Follow I-781 toward Exit 4 for US-11 South. Keep left at fork, merge onto US-11 North and then take ramp to NYS Route 26 South. Follow to Garrison Drive on the left.


From the east (Plattsburgh, NY): Take NYS Route 374 West to NYS Route # West. Follow Route 3 West to NYS Route 3A. Follow NYS Route 26 to Garrison Drive on the right.

What is Scouts BSA?

Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience for boys and girls ages 11 to 17 years old. Service, community engagement and leadership development become increasingly important parts of the program as youth lead their own activities and work their way toward earning Scouting’s highest rank, Eagle Scout.
